Woolwell in Bloom are very pleased and proud to announce that we won GOLD in this years Britain in Bloom Contest!

We were also winners in the Best village (Devon Category).

Thank you to everyone who has helped us achieve this amazing award.

 We had had the official opening of the Jubilee Path on 26th October

A big thank you to Gillian and Jo for doing this for us. A great turnout by the residents of Woolwell.

The children and adults loved the seed scattering and spring bulb planting.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped, supported and donated to Woolwell in Bloom. Particular thanks to Sound Site Services who installed the path for us.

Congratulations to 4 of our junior bloomers, they all gained their junior bloomers blue tops today .

The group worked really hard as they ,

Banked up the potato bed

Foraged for some nasturtiums in other beds to plant in the herb bed.

Planted Golden Beetroot into the verb bed

Planted garlic into the onion bed along with some Red Marigolds.

Also added some marigolds into the new pots in the cafe carpark.

We also welcomed a new member today.
